Elizabeth Sayialel

Health and WASH Manager

Elizabeth is the Health and WASH Manager at The Maa Trust, having been promoted to this role in July 2024. In her three years with the Integrated Community Health Project (ICHP), she progressed from a Health Project Assistant to Health Project Coordinator, demonstrating significant leadership and impact. Elizabeth has organized impactful community initiatives, particularly in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR), fostering supportive environments for community and youth dialogue.

Her strategic and collaborative efforts have expanded ICHP's reach in the Maasai Mara, introducing innovative programs to meet evolving community needs. Elizabeth honed her skills and expertise at Basecamp Foundation Kenya (BCFK), which provided her with a solid foundation in community health and development. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and Security Studies from Daystar University and a certificate in Menstrual Hygiene Management from the Humanitarian Global Institute.

Elizabeth is deeply committed to community development, and in her new role as Health and WASH Manager, she continues to lead with dedication, driving initiatives that enhance health outcomes, promote well-being, and ensure access to clean water and sanitation in the communities The Maa Trust serves.
